Charlie Miller has spent two decades pastoring small churches. He planted and led The Intersection for fourteen years, walking that congregation through growth, fracture, Covid, and the long quiet work of faithfulness when the numbers don’t cooperate. Today he serves as executive pastor of Island Church, a small intentional congregation that meets in a rented rec center gymnasium and supports four other church plants.
The Strategically Small series grew out of a conviction that was hard-earned and slow to arrive: small is not a stage on the way to something bigger. It might be exactly what God intended. He lives with his wife, Kim, and writes for the people who keep showing up.
